Average percentage increase in the cost of a bottle of U.S. wine purchased in China today thanks to Chinese tariffs imposed in retaliation for U.S. tariffs on Chinese goods, according to Wine America. After gaining a foothold in the enormous Chinese market in the 2010s, American wine is now effectively priced out of it.
