Besides sauvignon blanc (white sauvignon), there’s also gray sauvignon and green sauvignon.
Sauvignon gris is a grayish skinned genetic mutation of sauvignon blanc. It’s grown primarily in Bordeaux and Chile. Sauvignon vert (green sauvignon) is a floral, slightly spicy grape that (in Italy) is known as friulano. It’s not genetically related to sauvignon blanc at all.
