The beautiful, slow, complete arc of flavor in this wine is sensational. And what flavor! Christmas cranberry sauce, grenadine, spiced cherries and kirsch (all flavors I associate with the Dundee Hills). But “Laurène” doesn’t stop there. Woven into all that “red” flavor are exotic spices, notes of earth, and wild mushrooms. The best Willamette Valley Pinot Noirs have both coolness and warmth…like laying a cool hand on your warm skin.
