Number of alcoholic beverages sold at a new style of Irish pub. Named The Virgin Mary, the pub caters to the “sober curious” who don’t want to drink alcohol but find pubs ever so much more fun than the local coffee shop. The Virgin Mary plans to franchise, starting with a pub in Abu Dhabi renamed “TVM” lest the middle word in the pub’s name cause offense in a Muslim country. Speaking as an Irish woman myself, I can only say that dry pubs go against the natural order of the universe.
