The grapes–chardonnay, pinot noir and pinot meunier–will ultimately be used to make English sparkling wine. The relatively new English sparkling wine industry is awash with ambition and excitement. Taittinger Champagne, one of the latest players, recently broke vineyard ground on their new project (called Domaine Evremond) in Kent.
