Average percentage less that women in the beverage alcohol industry earned in 2019 compared to men in the industry, according to Seven Fifty’s just released 2019 Career & Salary Survey. 3,100 beverage alcohol professionals across all tiers participated in the survey. The percentage is slightly better than the average pay gap in the U.S. where, on average, women earn 20% less than men.

There are however differences in the way the two brandies taste. Cognac tends to be more floral, grapey and fragrant with a good bite of alcohol in the finish. Armagnacs are fuller bodied with more pruney, dried fruit character.
