Number of wheels of Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, worth over $86,000, stolen in a series of thefts last year in Modena, Italy. The cheese robbers didn’t forget the wine (ahem, this is Italy after all).  An estimated $108,000 worth of wine was stolen as well, likely by the same criminals. Modena police have arrested ten people so far in what they call “Operation Wine and Cheese.”
