Over the last decade, tequila’s image has been polished considerably, from party shot to luxury spirit.  When “The db” did a survey of the ten most expensive tequilas currently for sale, Tequila Ley’s “.925 Diamante” came in first at US$3.5 million for the one bottle produced. (The bottle is encrusted with 4,100 diamonds).
