According to Vitisphere News, the Côte d’Or, which includes both the Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits appellations in Burgundy, has increased the number of organic vineyards in the region. By comparison, in the Burgundy region as whole, only 17% of vineyards are organic. France’s national average of organic vineyards was roughly 14% as of 2020.
