Percent of patients in South Korea testing positive for COVID-19 who have had anosmia (a partial or complete loss of sense of smell) as their major presenting symptom.  Dr. Claire Hopkins, president of the British Rhinological Society, believes wine is effective in testing olfactory senses at home, and possibly detecting early onset of the virus. Dr. Hopkins assures wine lovers the symptom is temporary.
