The commercial–featuring “Yellow Tail Guy” (a young man) and “Roo” (a you-know-what) –sent Yellow Tail’s sales soaring by 19% in volume for the month. Spurred by its renewed success in the U.S., the brand now plans to pursue a 3-year long television ad campaign, to cost an estimated $40 million.
