Pounds of Angus beef donated by Heitz Cellar, in Napa, California to families impacted by COVID-19.  The winery raises cattle on 40 acres of its biodynamic farm. Heitz has united with local relief groups Abode Services and the Table, as well as the Salvation Army, to distribute the meat. In 1966, Heitz made the first vineyard-designated Napa Valley wine—Heitz “Martha’s Vineyard”—which has had legendary status for the last 50 years. When it was first released, it cost $7 a bottle, an extravagance at the time.
