That’s more than the amount Baby Boomers and Millennials on average are willing to spend, or can afford to, according to a 2018 Wine Consumption Data Report by Wine Access. Gen X is also the most likely age group to buy higher-priced wines more than once a month. People over the age of 73 are the least likely.
