Number of ounces of wine a beauty shop or barbershop in California can now serve to a customer, thanks to Assembly Bill 1322 which took effect January 1, 2017. (The shop does not need to have an alcoholic beverage license or permit.) The shop cannot charge a fee for the wine, and can serve wine up to 10 pm daily—which is five hours longer than wineries can serve their own wine in their own tasting rooms.
