The degree of incline in Calmont, the steepest vineyard in the world. Located in the Mosel, Calmont looks like a vertical wall of vines, all tenaciously gripping the slatey cliff. There are no roads through Calmont, only winding paths and one miniature monorail for bringing grapes down – everything else must be carried by the vineyard crew.
