Today there are over 28,000 acres planted with wine grapes. The northern Willamette Valley (including the six appellations within it Chehalem Mountains, Dundee Hills, Eola-Amity Hills, McMinnville, Ribbon Ridge, and Yamhill-Carlton District) accounts for 75% of all the grapes crushed in Oregon.
