Number of international items on display in Sweden’s Disgusting Food Museum. Foods were chosen based on criteria, such as how revolting the smell was or how icky the texture. Visitors can stick their noses into a “smell jar” to take a whiff of maggot-infested cheese or rotten shark meat, among other delicacies. Sound unbearable? Not to worry. The museum ticket doubles as a sickness bag.
