Percentage of all of the wine made in Provence, France, that is rosé. Yet, as of 2022, Provence produces just 6 percent of all rosé wines globally. Years of wildly increasing consumer demand (plus the advantage of quick cash flow) has meant that nearly every corner of the winemaking world now produces a pink wine. (When the Mosel region of Germany does, we are throwing in the towel.)
