So light in body it barely brushes against your palate, the wine is nonetheless packed with fruit, spice, and mineral flavors. No surprise since it’s from a renowned producer working with one of the most famous vineyards on the Mosel—the Würzgarten (spice garden) vineyard in the town of Ürzig. Insanely steep, the vineyard is planted in volcanic red slate soils.
