Number of grape varieties recognized by the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) for use on wine labels. The Bureau recently green-lighted a petition from Tablas Creek Winery in Paso Robles, California, to list Muscardin, a rare red Rhône grape, on its label. That makes Muscardin the 348th grape officially recognized by the TTB.
